Due to ongoing high rains and rising river levels, southeast Bangladesh is currently experiencing a catastrophic flood situation. Over 1.5 million people are left trapped in the worst-hit regions of Feni, Comilla, and Noakhali, where entire settlements have been shut off due to waterlogged roads and highways. The project's proceeds will go toward giving the impacted households in the flood-affected areas dry food and rehabilitation.
